Steven H. Lin, M.D., Ph.D., is a tenured Professor and Clinician-Scientist at MD Anderson Cancer Center. Dr. Lin acquired his M.D. and Ph.D. degrees in the Medical Scientist Training Program at the University of California Irvine Medical School. He went on for residency training in Radiation Oncology at The Johns Hopkins Hospital before coming to MD Anderson as faculty in the Division of Radiation Oncology. Dr. Lin is currently the Director of Research in the Thoracic Radiation Oncology section and runs a translational research team that evaluates biomarkers for treatment response and disease outcomes after cancer therapy. His main passion lies in improving cancer cures through innovative treatment approaches and technologies to improve cancer detection and treatment response monitoring.
